The Business Year signs MoU with American Chamber of Commerce in Lebanon

The Business Year, a leading research firm and publisher of annual economic resources on national economies, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding outlining a research partnership agreement with the American Lebanese Chamber of Commerce (AmCham). This strategic partnership will contribute to the development of the sixth edition on Lebanon’s economy, The Business Year: Lebanon 2017.

The MoU was signed in Beirut between Paola Chakhtoura, Executive Director of AmCham, and Ioana Popa, TBY Country Manager for Lebanon. Chakhtoura commended TBY for helping to increase the exposure of business sectors in Lebanon, stating, “AmCham is proud to have secured another year partnership with The Business Year. AmCham members and executives see in this partnership an open and transparent window that will provide a close look on the business opportunities and challenges in Lebanon.”

TBY’s Editor-in-Chief Leland Rice expressed excitement to partner with AmCham Lebanon for the sixth edition of its publication. “This long-term partnership demonstrates the common goal of both our organizations to further promote Lebanon as a place to do business and to provide an open and honest perspective on the opportunities and challenges of Lebanon as a destination for international investors.”

After the success of the previous five editions and due to the recent changes in Lebanon’s government and economy, TBY: Lebanon 2017 will further investigate the economic climate and investment opportunities in Lebanon through in-depth sector analyses. The publication will feature interviews with more than 150 leading executives and government ministers from the local economy providing direct insights into market growth and trends.
